Tonight was our first Pack Meeting of the year. It was a ton of fun and the boys really enjoyed themselves! We sure missed Connor and Eric and hope they're feeling better! The boys performed their first skit in front of everyone. I was very proud of them... it's a hard thing to do! We kind of got off to a rough start (behind the scenes only)... the boys were getting a little stage fright, so we had to do a few of role/wardrobe changes until everyone was comfortable. If your boys came home this evening saying that Mrs. Deti freaked out on them, it's because I kind of did. :) Once we finally got it together they did an awesome job. This second video clip is of our Wolves receiving all of their awards/segments that they have earned since June of this year! (The scouts that participated in the orienteering event last Saturday will be receiving that segment at November's Pack Meeting. I missed the cut-off for placing that order.). All of the boys who were able to go to Day Camp in July received the 'Cub Scout Activity Award' (pg. 149 of the Tiger Cub Handbook). Among the many requirements was to attend a Scout Day Camp in order to earn this patch. If your scout didn't earn this award this time around, there's always next year!
